This past summer I spent my time at a special needs summer camp, called Camp Hasc. Many would describe this camp as "Heaven on Earth" where miracles happen on a daily basis. I had the privellage of capturing those moments on a daily basis as the camp's videographer.

After a few weeks at HASC I would also call it a "Heaven on Earth" because I realized that what made this place special was the staff behind it. For the staff and councelors there is no such thing is sleeep. They give up their summer to care for another human being and make it the summer of their lives. Some are rookies and others are veterans, but the one thing they have in common is their commitment to their campers. 

 

Every friday afternoon I sat down with my camera, a few chairs, and a white background, and had a conversation with each one of the staff members and discovered the priceless stories they had to share. Here is a glimpse into the countless people who are changing lives, one summer at a time.
